Living in this age full of turmoil and trial, pastor Hannah Chang compared man’s faith to riding a roller coaster, which sometimes reaches highs sometimes experiences lows, especially when we are in despair or facing the disturbance of sickness, even feeling like walking in the wilderness of death, if you “hold fast to faith” then you can still experience “peace and hope” granted by God.
Pastor Hannah Chang asked attendees to carefully think “from the past to now, what’re some difficulties I have been through?” and encouraged people to have faith! Because it’s not all in vain; instead, God is challenging our faith, and in its midst the Holy Spirit keeps reminding His children: “Do not fear!”
Pastor Hannah Chang further reminded that “the one truly fears God is to willingly put away the old self and becomes a partaker of God’s divine nature.” Christian ought to live a life closely connected to God in the everyday living so as to not easily leave God in difficulties.
Let’s continue to be strong for the Lord!
2nd Message
Pastor Hannah Chang mentioned many times: “Pass down a spiritual legacy,” encouraging pastors and leaders shall with all their strength according to biblical teachings to cultivating God-fearing servants of the kingdom of God. By quoting John 14 declaring that Jesus Christ is “the way and the truth and the life,” she called on believers to walk the way Jesus walked and strive to live a life of God, because we cannot leave a spiritually shallow life to the next generation.
Talking about how to break through life crisis and dryness, the pastor particularly pointed out John 15:4-5 as the spiritual key to it.
Only abiding in Christ and in the place where people cannot see walking in the truth, such as reading the Bible, praying, serving and witnessing can be a fruitful believer.
In the teaching of prayers being answered, quoting John 15:7-8 the pastor reminded the congregation that only abiding in God’s word prayers will be answered; it’s the key for the spiritual life to be closely connected to God.
On the third afternoon in-person service, pastor Hannah especially laid hands on brothers and sisters to bless, heal and deliver.
At the meeting, the Spirit worked mightily, God’s power in its midst had done many great and glorious things. (Mk. 16:17)
At the evening service, many attendees one by one came forward to tell of how God healed their diseases and restored their heart removing their burdens……etc. the life-sharing testimonies; not only people at service were encouraged deeply but gave all glory to God!
Lastly, pastor Hannah Chang through Rom. 12:1-2 reminded the attendees that believers shall earnestly keep one’s body not to be conformed to this world but hear and obey God’s will. In thoughts, minds, eyes and words all shall seek the Spirit’s guidance and set one apart not letting eyes be fixed on things not right.
